Named for the Light of the Moon
Nur, light. Lune, the moon.
Every year, families step outside and look at the sky. Somewhere in that darkness is a crescent so thin it is easy to miss — and when it appears, an ordinary evening becomes Ramadan. A month later, another one turns an ordinary morning into Eid. Nothing about the night has changed except that everyone now knows what it means.
We named this brand for that moment. Nur, the Arabic word for light. Lune, the French word for moon. NURLUNE is jewelry made for the evenings that are marked, remembered, and photographed.
Why we design in sets
The hardest part of getting ready has never been finding one beautiful thing. It is finding the second and the third that belong with it — the earrings that answer the necklace, the bracelet that does not argue with either.

About our materials, honestly
Our pieces are made in zinc alloy with a warm gold-tone plated finish. We chose it deliberately. The designs we love — layered filigree, deep openwork, statement collars that sit wide across the collarbone — are heavy and elaborate by nature. In solid gold, a single set of this scale would cost more than most families spend on the whole celebration. In gold tone, you can own the piece that suits the night, and a different one next year.
Plated finishes are not permanent, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. Keep your pieces away from perfume, water and humidity, wipe them after wear, and they will look the way they did on the first night for a long time.
